Cris Sena has dedicated over a decade to the crane, rigging, and welding industries, building a reputation as a skilled operator, inspector, and trainer. His career began at just 17 years old as a fire watch, where he developed an early interest in welding. Pursuing that passion, he earned an Associate of Applied Science in Welding Technologies and achieved AWS D1.1 3G certification. While completing his degree, he worked as a fabricator and welder, gaining valuable hands-on experience before transitioning into crane operations.

Cris’s career took a pivotal turn when industry veteran Scott Orr mentored him as an apprentice. Over three years, Cris mastered crane operations, inspections, and instructional techniques. During this time, he became a certified crane operator through NCCCO, CIC, and NCCER, and earned authorization as a practical exam proctor for NCCCO in TSS, TLL, and LAT specialties.

He worked in Denver conducting crane and rigging training and performing equipment inspections, earning multiple NCCCO certifications including Mobile Crane Inspector, Tower Crane Inspector, ABC, DDO, RIG1, RIG2, SIG, and TWR, while also serving as a practical examiner proctor.

Afterward, Cris gained field experience as a tower crane operator with Compass Equipment before returning to his home state of New Mexico in 2024. He founded Southwest Crane and Rigging Solutions, offering freelance training, inspections, and tower crane operations. Later that year, he and his business partner acquired Paradise Crane Consultants LLC, where Cris assumed leadership in training, inspections, and operational consulting. in 2025 Cris would further advance his professional standing by attaining his NCCCO Lift director certification proving his expertise in overseeing complex lifting operations and reinforcing his role as a trusted industry leader.

Carlos Gonzales is a bilingual safety professional, fluent in English and Spanish, with a strong background in construction, crane operations, and safety leadership. He has extensive experience developing safety programs, conducting audits, and implementing protocols across a wide range of jobsite environments.

Carlos began his career in construction working alongside his father, where he developed a deep respect for the trades and a strong work ethic. He later joined Paradise Crane Consultants, where he provided crane and rigging training and conducted equipment inspections. During this time, he earned multiple NCCER and NCCCO certifications and advanced to become an NCCER Practical Examiner for Crane and Rigging.

He then served as Corporate Safety Officer at Summit Construction, leading company-wide safety initiatives and earning his NCCER Construction Site Safety Technician (CSST) certification. Over three years in this role, Carlos built a reputation for creating effective safety systems that enhanced compliance and reduced workplace risk.

With more than five years of experience in safety, including three years supporting operations at Sandia National Laboratories, Carlos has developed specialized expertise in Department of Energy (DOE) safety policies and procedures. His work in this regulated environment has honed his skills in compliance management, risk mitigation, and operational safety.

Today, Carlos leverages his bilingual communication skills, technical certifications, and leadership experience to elevate safety standards and mentor the next generation of professionals in the field.

Paradise Crane Consultants (PCC), LLC was founded in 1995 by S. Scott Orr.

Scott has more than 40 years experience in construction and industrial work environments as a Mobile Crane Operator, Field Superintendent, General Foreman (Steel Erection), Rigging Superintendent and Safety Director.

Scott is a Licensed/Certified Crane and Rigging Inspector and Crane and Rigging Certification Instructor. PCC is a respected leader in steel erection, crane and rigging industries.
