Crane Certification South Dakota

Training Services

Overview: PCC offers a number of training courses related to the crane and rigging industry and can be conducted throughout North America. Our training courses are recognized by numerous private sector companies and approved by government agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Energy, Sandia National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Department of Defense.

National Crane Operator Certification

  • 4 Day Course - 16 hr. Workshop.
  • Practical exam, and one specialty exam included.
  • Additional Cost for:
  • Each additional specialty written examination.
  • Each additional practical examination.
  • Seat time - practice for practical.

National Mobile/Tower Crane Operator Recertification

  • 16 hr. Workshop including one written examination.
  • Additional costs for each extra examination.

Large and Small Telescopic/Lattice Boom Cranes

  • 6-day course (Monday – Saturday) - 48 hr. Workshop.
  • 1 Written examination and 1 Practical examination.

Advanced Rigger National Certification Course

  • 3 Day Course - Practical examination and one specialty exam included.

Lift Director-Assembly/Disassembly Training

  • 3 Day Course
  • Written and Practical examinations included.

Trenching & Excavation Competent Person

  • 1 Day Course - Written and practical Examination included.

Accredited Fall Protection Qualified Person

  • 2 Day Course - Written and practical examinations included.

Confined Space Training

  • 1 Day Course - Written and practical examinations included.

Scaffold Competent Person

  • 1 Day Course - Written and practical examination included.

Overhead or Mobile Crane Inspector Training

  • 3 Day Course - written and practical examinations included.

New Mexico Operator License Refresher

  • 1 Day Course.

Overhead Crane Operator Training

  • 1 Day Course - Written and practical examination included.

Basic Crane & Rigging Awareness Training

  • 1 Day Course.

Aerial Work Platform Course

  • 1 Day Course - Written and practical examination included
